Recently my grandmother, Frances Mary Ferranti-Walker, has passed away. After her death, her three daughters(my mom included) divvied up what she had left behind. I was the first born grandchild in the family and she was so excited, she went out and bought a jewelry set in my birth stone—Garnet. She will remain forever in my heart, and this set will always be very dear to me.
